NUX Rivulet Chorus
A crystal clear river flowing, transparent. The Rivulet design concept ! Old-school Analog Chorus has always been warm but it was hungry for dynamic completion.
NUX’s modern-tech DSP yields a perfect combination of both worlds: analog and digital.
To achieve all of the Rivulet Chorus objectives, our engineers had to developed an algorithm that mimics the principle of BBD chips--the key component of Analog Chorus effect.
Rivulet’s low-frequency oscillation provides the traditional analog chorus tone discerning ears have come to expect in a true chorus pedal.
Dynamic tone and noise elimination capabilities put Rivulet into a completely separate category from cheap analog pedals.
Quality-grade BBD chips in large quantity have become incredibly rare, so this method isn’t practical for making an affordable analog chorus device.
Using DSP technology, NUX is able to offer a mini-pedal with a contrasting array of chorus tones.
We selected 3 essentials, each with a voice that can be upgraded with a quick, user-friendly firmware download.
Here are NUX’s 3 essential picks:
MODERN CHORUS
The Rivulet comes factory-loaded with NUX’s tribute to the classic “Modern Chorus,” the familiar Yellow pedal with 5 knobs. The original pedal required a whopping 18 volt power supply to improve sound clarity and boost dynamics. The Rivulet out-performs this respected beast w/ a mere 9 volts. We’ve also consolidated the controls by eliminating the bass and treble knobs, now internally set at middle position, and we’ve eliminated the need for the bass filter altogether, which is now automatically corrected through the advancements of DSP sound modeling.

70’s CHORUS
The first chorus effect pedal arrived on the scene in 1976. Before that, it was only available as a built-in effect on a classic jazz amplifier. Rivulet accurately brings back the characteristic of this pedal; that special warmth of a rich jazz atmosphere, that immediately recognizable highlight to any musician’s tone.

80’s CHORUS
The classic original only came w/ Speed and Depth control parameters, just 2 small knobs, and yet it was recognized as one of the best chorus effects of the 1980‘s.
Rivulet’s 3 knob configuration provides the added benefit of a dry/wet signal ratio adjustment.
Features:
1. Free Firmware updates.
2. True-bypass or buffered-bypass selectable.
3. Performance: Super-low system noise, 96kHz/24bit AD/DA converter, 32 bit floating DSP, zero latency of Analog-Dry-Through design, more than 100dB typical dynamic range
4. More features: Luminous knobs, Solid and light aluminum die-cast chase, regular 9V pedal power with 75mA low current.
Tube Man Overdrive
Tube man is a smooth overdrive pedal which has brilliant midrange character, it allows your tone cutting edge while retaining guitars natural sonic qualities You can use it with a clean amp to deliver bluesy rhythm tone or push a hot amp into limitless sustain for solos.
NUX Monterey Vibe
NUX Monterey Vibe, born to recreate the grand, yet complex, psychedelic rock guitar sound of the 1960's and 70's. It features all of the classic Uni-vibe style selections: Chorus, Rotary-Speaker, and Phaser pedal. We modernized the original 4 stage phaser circuit ( a pulsating bulb surrounded by 4 photo-resistors ) by replacing it with a powerful 32Bit floating DSP to process our custom algorithm. What was the outcome? A perfect mimic of the complex physical-phenomena of its original analog circuitry.
NUX Monterey Vibe generates a truly unique effect tone; a mix of chorus, tremolo, rotary, and phaser. This unique tone can be found in Pink Floyd’s ‘Breathe’, Robin Trower’s ‘Bridge of Sighs’, and the haunting audio mood created for ‘Machine Gun’ by Jimi Hendrix.
The earliest Uni-Vibe effect pedal came out in the 1960‘s. Cutting-edge guitarists were seeking a replacement for the heavy rotary speaker amplifier--configured from a standard amplifier for the electronic pipe organ. The original Leslie speakers did have a charm of their own, but it was more than compensated for by gaining the phaser effect, and the ease-of-use of a simple pedal configuration.
Just like the traditional Uni-Vibe pedal, you can switch between Chorus ( the Uni-vibe effect ) or Vibrato, by simply holding the foot-switch. In Chorus mode, the mix of Phaser and dry guitar signals produces a classic Rotary sound. In Vibrato mode, your pitch modulates between high and low. Both modes yield a rich, vintage vibe at any speed, intensity, or volume.
HG-6 Modern High Gain
HG6 quietly built a reputation as solid as its almost nuclear blast-ready pedals. HG6 offers aggressive Rock / Metal distortion and much more like valve amp sounds and active middle frequency EQ circuit.
AS-4 Modern Amplifier Simulator
AS4 Modern Amp Simulator is low cost but screams with the same kind of fat, warm, blazing sounds of the original amplifiers.
Features:
• Simulates the characteristic distortion and cabinet sound of a guitar amplifier
• Extra amount of gain boosts high frequencies for greater distortion effect
• True bypass provides transparent tone
• Bass and high tone control
• LED indicator shows status of effect and battery condition
OD-3 Vintage Overdrive
Warm tube and natural overdrive sound with a very wide range... Remarkable feature offering varying options for tonal shaping.
Features:
Tone, Level and Gain knobs
Power: 9V Battery or 9V AC Adapter
